1. Myofascial Release level 1 – (3 hours):
Abstract:
This webinar will provide manual osteopaths with a comprehensive and hands-on approach in the advanced fascia release field of practice. Participants will have the opportunity to explore what is the fascia matrix, understand the principles underlying the myofascial structure and learn applied techniques to embed into their everyday practice with their clients.

2. Myofascial Release level 2 – (3 hours):
Abstract:
The consolidation, exchange of discussions of the experience from the manual osteopath with the 4 technical skills learned in MFR level I. This workshop will then explore three new myofascial skills: skill rolling, rebounding and working various planes with another therapist. We will explore and discuss scar tissue and adhesion management, what can MFR do to help these issues.
By exploring the application of myofascial release through case studies, hands-on and theory content. This will allow practitioners to consolidate and learn new technical skills as well have a deeper understanding of the importance of various MFR technique approaches to work the entire fascial matrix.

3. Clinical Recording – (3 hours):
Abstract:
The understanding and application of what is the best practices of clinical recording for osteopath practitioners. We will explore the intake notes, what is SOAP, what are focus notes, what is DARP and various best practices guidelines from different countries: Australia, New – Zealand, United States and Canada.

4. Motivational Interviewing – (3 hours):
Abstract:
The understanding and application of motivational strategies that will allow manual osteopathic professionals to better connect with their clients, to empower them and to enhance their trusting therapeutic relationship that will allow clients to better make their lifestyle changes.

5. Biomechanics of Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) – (3 hours):
Abstract:
Participants will learn about what are motor vehicle accidents (MVA), assess properly their clients with various orthopedic, neurological, and range of motion testing and evaluating pain with LOTARP. This webinar will focus on how we can treat rear end collisions by various techniques (osteoarticular, myofascial release & muscle energy technique), and develop a client treatment plan. Participants will gain a more comprehensive knowledge of what are motor vehicle accidents and a better professional confidence to apply their manual skills to treat a client.

This online webinar will provide participants an introduction to pharmacology. What are the core concepts in pharmacology? What are the drugs for the control of pain? What are the drugs for muscle spasms and spasticity? What are the drugs for bone and joint disorders? What are the drugs for inflammation? How can I be more knowledgeable and aware of these various classes of drugs and feel more confident when a client discusses their medications with me.

8. Pain is not Gain – Lower Limb – (3 hours):
Abstract:
This online webinar will provide participants the understanding of pain and the impact on how this will affect the client’s lifestyle and everyday activities. We will explore pain with lower limb and present the findings of how to help clients with our guest speaker Mr. Tony Hui, physiotherapist and author of the latest book: Revolutionary lower limb therapy Pain is not gain end hip, knee & foot pain resulting from aging and injury.

9. Leadership & Communication – (3 hours):
Abstract:
Leadership and communication are important skills for manual osteopath practitioners as most of practitioners are self-employed and work with various health care professionals. We will explore what does it mean to be a leader? What is the secret ingredient for leadership success. How we stimulate and create a leadership vision and purpose. Leaders that motivate, engage and empower colleagues to meet higher needs. How leaders work to develop and create an open communication climate.

10. Active Aging – (3hours):
Abstract:
Older adults’ clients represent a large part of our demographic population group in North America. In Canada, the latest survey by Statistics Canada revealed a proportion of 17.5 % of seniors surpassing the children demographic and this could reach 22.7 % in 2031. We will explore in this webinar how to properly assess, treat and deliver health care advice to an older adult when providing a manual osteopath treatment. How can we properly address the various challenges of the older adult by maintaining an active and healthy aging senior.

11. Myofascial Release Practice & Case Studies – (4hours):
Abstract:
This webinar will provide participants the opportunity to review and consolidate the various techniques learned through myofascial release (MFR) level 1 & level 2 as well allow new participants to be introduced to these techniques coming from previous competencies in myofascial release background.
